£1m Bullet Stops
Show
A
dummy bullet sped off course - and cost
a TV company £1million.
Instead of hitting
a wall it hit actor Kal Weber in the head.
And filming on the new Professionals series
had to stop for two weeks for his cuts
to heal - at a cost of £500,000
a week.
Kal, 28, who plays agent Chris Keel in
the remake of the seventies Bodie and
Doyle classic on Sky 1, said: "We
had taken every safety precaution.
"But a doctor told me that if the
bullet had hit an inch lower it would
have exploded in my eye and I would have
lost it."
Kal added: "The actor who fired
the gun was really nervous when we re-shot
the scene, but this time it went off without
a hitch."
