Wilderness
Men
This first in a
series of adventures tells the extraordinary
tale of American explorers Meriwether
Lewis and William Clark, through a mixture
of their journals and reconstructed scenes.
Their hazardous mission, in 1803, was
to cross from the east and find a trade
route to the Pacific coast through an
unknown landscape, coping with Indian
tribes, wild animals and extreme weather
conditions. An Indian teenager, with her
newborn baby, was their invaluable guide,
and proved to be their saviour, thanks
to an amazing coincidence.
