Pioneering
spirit and sheer determination abound
in 'Wilderness Men', a new docu-drama
series re-enacting the journeys undertaken
by four of the world's greatest explorers.
This week's, 'The First American Dream:
The Journey of Lewis and Clark', tells
the story of legendary Corps of Discovery
partners Meriwether Lewis and William
Clark (Kal Weber and Glenn Wrage, below)
who set out in 1803 to find a trade route
by land from the East to the Pacific Coast.
Battling dangerous rapids, grizzly bears
and illness in uncharted territory, the
pair took two-and-a-half years to complete
the trip.
